Excused Absences

The Excused Absence module allows you to review and process requests submitted by candidates who were unable to attend an exam or had an issue during the exam. You can review request details, add comments, approve requests, or deny requests based on the submitted information.

Follow the steps below to view and review the excused absences request:

  1. Navigate to Settings and select Excused Absence under Organization. 

     
  2. In the Excused Absence page, you can view all submitted requests in a table format with the following details: 
    1. Request ID: The unique Request ID generated for a request is displayed.
    2. Candidate Name: Name of the candidate who has submitted the request.
    3. Email ID: The email address of the candidate is displayed.
    4. Exam Name: Name of the exam for which the request has been submitted.
    5. Submitted Date: The date when the request was submitted is displayed.
    6. Status: Status of the request is displayed. 
    7. Actions: Click the view icon to review and see the full details of the request. 

       
  3. Select a request with the status Awaiting Approval by clicking on the view icon. 

     
  4. In the View Excused Absence page, you can review the candidate's explanation for requesting an excused absence, along with complete details, including related exam and candidate information. 
  5. Comments: In the comments section, you can enter the internal remarks and view previous comments. 
    • Click the Comments button, enter your comments, and click the Add Comments button to save. 
  6. Deny: To deny the request, click the Deny button at the top right side of the page.
  7. Approve: To approve the request, click the Approve button at the top right side of the page.
